Titled Bhadrakali , the project , which has been written by Digpal Lanjekar , is based on the life of Maratha army chief Umabai Dabhade .        Unsung historical figures continue to hold sway over contemporary Marathi filmmakers . After Sarsenapati Hambirrao and Chhatrapati Tararani , a film titled Bhadrakali is being developed on the life of the Maratha warrior Umabai Dabhade .       The film will be directed by Prasad Oak , who has already helmed a historical film, Hirkani (2019).
