Inspired by the iconic mid-1990s DC story from Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale , Batman : The Long Halloween , Part One begins as a brutal murder on Halloween prompts Gotham's young vigilante , the Batman , to form a pact with the city's only Two uncorrupt lawmen ( Police Captain James Gordan and District Attorney Harvey Dent ) in order to take down The Roman , head of the notorious and powerful Falcone Crime Family . But when more deaths occur on Thanksgiving and Christmas , it becomes clear that , instead of ordinary gang violence , they’re also dealing with a serial killer - the identity of whom , with each conflicting clue , grows harder to discern . Few cases have ever tested the wits of the World’s Greatest Detective like the mystery behind the Holiday Killer .
My View : -
The story and narrative of the movie is good . The screen play and storytelling create interest in the series . The writing of the movie is wonderful . The pace have given to the movie , that's is wonderful . Therefore there is no question of being bored . The animation also looks great . It all looks exactly like the comic book ( Reviewer say ) which I really appreciated . Over all this movie is great acting of all characters is good . Fantastic voice work and animation . The voice acting for Batman I thought was fantastic along with Joker. I don't read the comic book therefore I don't know how is accurate series to book . After that , Calendar Man I also really liked . He has this calm but menacing tone to him that I really liked . Also Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent is incredible . This might be my favorite Harvey Dent performance yet . Yes , even better than the Dark Knight , just by a little bit . I really enjoyed his performance in the movie . The movie really stayed true to the comic , some reviewer say . The movie didn’t add any extra meaningless stuff like the Killing Joke did . No it stayed almost 100 percent true to the comic besides a couple of carried on scenes . I thought it was really smart splitting the story up into two parts . But this movie really stayed true to the source material .
Everything in “ BATMAN - THE LONG HALLOWEEN ( Part 1 ) ” is interesting and good . Highly recommended to everyone . If you have time then you must watched the movie . I give 4.0 star out of 5 star .
